First and last experience at this particular location. I had high expectations going in as I was a previous customer to other locations but the whole experience left me wanting and wishing I had gone with a different salon. Maybe the beautician was having a bad day but barely any care given throughout the process.

While I am happy with the results of my facial, my skin feels and looks brighter and clearer, I did not enjoy the experience. The main reason for this is that I got cleanser and exfoliater in both of my eyes during my facial. The exfoliater got into my eyes so much it was stuck under my contacts and I had to sit up to take them out and clean them. Then my eyes felt gritty and uncomfortable all day. I felt like the lady doing my facial wasn’t taking much care and just went right over the top of my eyes with all the products which is how it seeped into them. Then I felt as though she rushed through everything and wasn’t very gentle with each step, suddenly wiping my face or even things like leaving wet towels under my arms after she had exfoliated them. The towels got cold and uncomfortable. My mum had the same treatment at the same time and was offered different options and had things explained to her (for example she had her feet scrubbed instead of her hands and was given information about the products used). I walked away feeling like I shouldn’t have paid full price for a service that was not what it should have been. And actually I was a little disappointed I was not offered a discount for getting product in my eyes. I was really looking forward to this facial and and nice relaxing moment and I am not one to complain easily, but this was just really disappointing.-

Returned to Ella Bache after a few years absence and was not greeted with the standard or service I was used to. Very rushed treatment, left with wax on face was quite disappointed with the overall experience and regrettably, won't be returning in the future.

The standard of training, I don't believe is the same. So therefore the experience could have been better if everyone had the same level of training. Went with another person and got the exact same treatment done by two different ladies although didn't receive the same experience unfortunately. Mixed reviews about the visit when it came to the actual treatment but overall service and standard of the store was great, lovely service all around.
