I booked in for a blow wave, I wasn’t offered a drink even a glass of water. The hairdresser wasn’t very gentle, particularly in the basin which I find is usually enjoyable and relaxing. I haven’t come here before but my hairdresser next door Bleu who is amazing was booked up and I needed my hair done for a hens. The hairdresser was a bit all over the place and dropped the hair brush around 3-4 times. She also strangely blow waved my hair from wet before even brushing it properly which I hadn’t experienced before. Albert Park is a tight market to do well as a hair salon and although I’m sure the hairdresser is a lovely person the experience wasn’t enjoyable and I won’t be back.

I can't comment on value for money...I haven't been anywhere else in years, so I have no comparison. I'm sure there are salons around that cost less, but I wouldn't risk it. I would recommend my family and friends, but none of my family or friends live in the locality and prefer to go local. I personally love the location and am happy to visit the surrounding shops while I'm there.

My critisism is that during my appointment i was attended to my 3 different staff. One to do my colour, another to wash and another to dry. It leaves you feeling unimportant, like the staff don't have time for you and fob you off to someone else. It also means explaining your story three times, as I was in to get my colour re-done as the first application last week didn't take very well. It also meant the person who dried my hair had no idea what it looked like when i walked in. I have curly hair and last person who dried it didn't understand how to dry curly hair and had no reference to how i styled it myself. She left me a big fuzzy mess when she'd finished and I was so embarrassed of how it looked i tied it back in a bun as soon as i left. I'm still deciding whether I'll be back to salon for future appointments.

Not my usual color and cut - v expensive cut and my hair does not look or feel the way it usually does after a visit. I was not charged for color but need to come back earlier than usual - inconvenient and annoying

Was a little disappointed that the girl (Paris I think) who Kathy asked to wash my colour off didn't listen to her instructions and gave my hair the worst wash it's ever had. There was no pressure used and it felt like she hadn't even washed the colour out. No head massage at all and no treatment offered. Kathy was great and requested another staff member wash my hair off and put a treatment through. This experience was much better.
