I had an arm wax and the lady kept saying she “couldn’t see” properly. I was left covered in sticky residue and was very patchy (lots of hair left). She also applied way to much oil after. Not only that but my skin had a terrible reaction as she often didn’t pull the wax off fast enough, or the wax stuck to my skin and it took her multiple turn to try pull off. I’m very disappointed as I have been here a few times before, however I will not be returning.

I was a little disappointed with my experience today. It was my first ever spray tan and I hadn’t done much research on what needed to be done before or after. I came straight from work. In hindsight I should have looked on the website to make sure I was prepared for the appointment but it’s such a busy time of year. When we entered the room I was asked if I had moisturised this morning or wearing deodorant (I had done both and felt pretty silly). Then I was given a pretty short time to take off my clothes, jewellery and makeup and it was quite awkward when the beautician kept asking if I was ready. I was going as fast as I could but felt very rushed. When she came into the room I felt like I had annoyed her by not knowing the process and for taking too long to get ready. I asked if she was okay and we got on with things. The spray tan itself went well and the beautician was really thorough. At the end I was told I should have brought lighter clothes to wear afterwards. I felt like I was in trouble again! I know it’s a busy time of year and everyone is under pressure but I just left feeling a little silly for not knowing anything about spray tans. Especially when you go to these sorts of appointments to feel good about yourself.

The service, and the result i recieved were lovely. While neither the facilities or the room were the best I've ever been in, I was extremely pleased with the result... until it came time to pay the bill. At more than 30% more expensive than I have ever paid before (including competing businesses within a 2 min walk) i would expect incredible results. While they were good, they weren't enough to even close to justify the markup. I wont be back...
