I have never been treated this poorly at a hairdresser before. The owner and staff at Inch hairdresser were so rude that I ended up crying on my way out. What a way to treat a recurring customer. I absolutely don’t recommend this place to anyone and I’m never going back. They told me they didn’t have time to do a 1/2 head highlight and only had time to do the T zone - even though I was booked in for 1/2 head. They then charged me for full head highlights (!). I called them after I had left the appointment to double check the price, since I noticed they charged me the same that they usually do for a full head (I even double checked the prices on their website). When I called I asked if he could tell me the price of the different services (blow dry, 1/2 head highlights) and the owner yelled at me saying he didn’t appreciate me calling to “complain” about the price. In my case, I didn’t even complain, I simply wanted to know whether the prices had gone up or whether e.g the blowdry was more expensive than I thought. It is not unusual to ask this when you are charged for a full head although you just did the T zone. During the appointment, when I was first told that they didn’t have time to do 1/2 head, I told them that my hair usually take 3-4 hours and asked if they had enough time for me. The staff then laughed at me and said “eh no it doesn’t” which I again had to say that I just wanted to make sure they had enough time and that yes it does take 3-4 hours and I’ve been going to inch for the past 3 years and I end up spending 3-4 hours there. She again laughed at me and said I wouldn’t be staying for longer than 2. She then spent the rest of the appointment being upset with me and making rude comments, she was obviously annoyed that my hair in fact did take 3-4 hours. She didn’t have time to hear me out when I was trying to explain how I wanted my hair done, and when I asked if she could avoid putting bleach on my lowlights she got upset that I didn’t tell her that from the start (although she didn’t even let me explain to her how I wanted my hair when I first got there because she didn’t have time to hear me out). Although I was only trying to be nice and let her know how much time my hair takes and I even said that I could come back another day if that would be better for them. I can’t believe how rude these people were. How can they treat someone like that, let alone a customer - and especially coming from the owner and the senior hairdresser, they should know better.. I would understand their reaction if I was being rude to them, but I wasn’t, not at all, I’m usually shy in these situations which is also why I ended up crying during my appointment. I understand that it might be tempting going to inch since their prices are pretty decent, but unless you want to be treated with such disrespect then I highly recommend you to find another hairdresser. I didn’t even get an apology
