Really disappointed, it has been 1 week and my shellac is peeling off. I didn't get a proper cuticle manicure either. I was still charged $70 I feel I wasted my time and money. The staff are lovely but the service wasn't good at all :( unfortunately won't be returning as I can get a professional job elsewhere and much cheaper that lasts for weeks

hi there, I really like the girls but the reapplication of my shellac and filing was not very skillful. my nails were quite rough afterwards and I had to file some of them as they were sharp and some were uneven. Very disappointing as I pay the same amount in the CBD and get a better result but I would rather use my local salon but to be honest I won't use Raquels again for nails. Also my treatment had to be finished by someone else as for some reason we ran out of time. The correct amount of time should have been allocated as I advised upon booking that removal and reapplication was needed.Again a bit disappointing.

I had a French manicure, but it smudged within 2 hours, I don't understand why this happened.

Waited so long when on bed after shown to room and she finished 5 mins early so wasn't an hour of treatment she took 5 dollars off treatment at end but I would have preferred not looking at my watch and feeling frustrated .also her greeting was very poor when I arrived

Unfortunately the first negative experience I've had in 10 years at Racquels. A staff member who did not listen to my request (I asked for my chin not be done, and even after the wax was put on, she waxed anyway instead of removing with water), and seemed to be inexperienced in waxing eyebrows - which turned out to be a painful (which I informed her of at the time) and dissatisfying appointment. My face is now swollen and red. Eyes and the surrounding skin are one of the most sensitive areas of the face and should not be repeatedly touched and combed after waxing. Nor should repeated plucking of skin (her technique was incredibly painful - fast rather than focussed on hairs). I am not sure if this has deterred me from using Racquels again after 10 years of custom, but certainly will not book with that same staff member again.
