I came to the salon on the 24/3 For a colour service with Teresa. She previously cut my hair, which I was happy with so I was confident for her to colour my hair. I was an all over Brunette with slightly natural lighter roots, the plan was to lighten my ends so there was a seamless blend. I wasn't too fussed what technique would be used, balayage or foils. I started to get nervous when Teresa had to asked every hair stylist in the salon what would be the best way to colour my hair, or what would be the best approach, and throughout the process asking everyone for advice every step of the way, colours used and toners. I have never really had this happen to me in any colour service. The balayage technique, which I have had done in the past I know is a specific technique, mixed with foils and back -combing at the roots. However the application method used was a generic tooth comb and a few strands of bleach here and there thrown in. The end results were quite shocking tbh. for $360 I had roots that were way too light and are orange, as the semi permanent colour applied was lighter than my original colour, and the ends had no bleach applied so were still dark. Upon me going home, and inspecting the hair I decided to call back, and explained I wasn't happy. I was then told I would have to pay for this to be fixed, which I was shocked with. We agreed I didn't have to pay for more bleach on my ends as this was the fault of the stylist but I would for the toner, which I agreed to however not happily all things considering. . After my second visit, it was mildly better than the day before, but I can't believe I had to pay extra $50 for a toner, so I have paid $410 total, for an extremely average patchy colour balayage, that’s turned orange which I will probably be getting fixed elsewhere. I like Teresa, I think she is a lovely person, but I just can't respect the work that was done on me and the costs of it. I have provided photos to this, Including one of what I was hoping my hair colour would look like. You go the salon to feel good about yourself, and to leave feeling depressed with your new expensive hair, it’s really not good.
