Overall my experience was great. I didnt have to wait , my hairdresser is friendly , efficient and knows what I like and listens to any new suggestions. I was offered refreshment and colour and cut done in 2 hours .

Consistently excellent. Girls are great, I work interstate so cannot book a long way ahead, but anyone of them can do just as good of job. I like the fact that the same faces are there every time (yes young ones come and go) but that says to me that the staff are looked after. I dislike businesses with a high turn over of staff, that means the boss is no good! Cheers H

I love the service at Convict Cutters. I am a bit of a scrooge when it comes to paying for having my hair done, and the only criticism I would have is about the price BUT I keep going back! After recently moving to Launceston, I had a couple of early bad experiences at cheaper salons. After the first visit to CC I was so happy with the professionalism and the skills of my hair dresser Claire, that I decided it was worth paying the extra! Last visit, I decided to change style and I cant remember ever being this happy with my hair. Thanks Claire! And the massage chair at the basin is awesome, especially in winter when they turn the heat on as well.

I have had Rob cutting my hair for over 22 years. I don't have an addictive personality, and only visit every 5-6 months, but I don't seem to be able to go anywhere else, or let anyone else cut my hair. Always a good experience.

I have had nothing but excellent service at Convict Cutters and my stylist (Claire) has always done exactly what I have asked. I would rate a little below excellent for value for money, simply because it's one of the more expensive salons in Launceston, however you get what you pay for. The price is the only reason I would be less likely to refer Convict Cutters to some people as they wouldn't spend the money. I've had a number of bad hair cuts elsewhere and I don't mind paying more to have it cut properly, especially as I already save money by not dying my hair. Lost one star for "how were you treated" because I had to wait a little longer than usual (5-10 minutes as opposed to normally going in straight away). That's probably nit picking though ;)
