You feel like you are among friends: everyone smiles, says hello. Drinks offered as part of the service. You enjoy your visit, hey, it’s my chill out time! You leave feeling fantastic and with many compliments. My wonderful hairdresser has become a friend.

I have just moved to Tasmania from Maine in the USA. Convict Cutters was recommended to me by a really great stylist that my sister goes to in NSW. I am tremendously grateful. I called to book an appointment and explained I have unruly curly hair (any ladies or gents out there with crazy curls know how hard it is to find a stylist that doesn't leave you with a mushroom haircut). They booked me in with Jessica James, she is truly amazing. Friendly, relaxed and by far an excellent stylist. Anyone can cut hair, but trying to find someone who can look at you and make suggestions on what would work for your face and personality defines a true stylist. In fact for my entire life I'd been parting my hair in the middle and Jess just styled in the first day to try a side part. I loved it and got a load of compliments so she has cut it that way now. Its a whole new look that works way better for me. I highly recommend this salon and their fantastic staff!

From the moment I arrived I enjoyed every second!! Your staff were so lovely. The space was clean. Loves being offered sparkling water (or wine!) and the little chocolate. And the girl that did my hair was patient, polite and very professional. She exaolines every step of the process. And the result was great. I will definitely book again next time I’m in Launceston
