Although I've used Serenity for treatments such as waxing, brazilians & eyebrow shaping in the past, I've only recently started going there for IPL treatments - after only 2 treatments the results are 10 times better than those I was getting after having 7 IPL sessions at another Cairns salon. Kendall was excellent in explaining all aspects of IPL, how to look after the treated area etc. She's also a great laugh and I would highly recommend her and her salon for any treatments. P.S. Bec also does fabulous eyelash extensions!

I really enjoy the experience at Serenity. My only gripe is with the cost of treatments. They are some of the highest I would say in Cairns. Yes, the atmosphere is lovely, however for me, i am primarily concerned with the end result. From my experience, other salons who don't charge as much deliver the same final result. So, given the current economic climate, there is a chance I would opt for another salon in the future. Or, keep using Serenity, but go back less frequently. As an example, eyebrow waxes are about $28 at Serenity (?I think). There are other places in Cairns who have charged $15-18 for the same service. Given it's usually a 5-10 minute procedure, it seems a big variation. I would say the same for other waxing. Has Serenity considered some sort of loyalty/points program? I would be less likely to switch if that were the case. (These comments do not need to be publicly displayed, but rather viewed hopefully by management.)
