I have previously had eyebrow waxing done before at the salon and I have been very happy. The last time I visited, just before Christmas, I felt like the therapist couldn't get me out of the salon fast enough. It was very disappointing.

Appointment was confirmed, then a day later I was contacted and advised that I had to change my appointment, which I did but was very inconvenient as I had other engagements arranged. I arrived 10 minutes early to give time to complete the paperwork required as this was my first time at this particular salon. Shop was not open and had to wait till it opened. As there was not much time left in my session my little beautician kindly cut short my completion of paperwork so she could spend the time on my face. Whilst the young beautician was very polite, friendly , no questions were asked of any problems I had with my skin, if it was sensitive, pigmentation problems and no advice was offered on what products she was putting on my skin and what they did. She did , however, give me a card to take with me where she had written what products had been used. My beautician gave a good facial, however, a lot of time spent on my decolage, rather than my face. I've had many facials over the years. There was no "steamer" used to open up the pores which I have always liked. Whilst saying all of that, it suited me, I prefer not to have to converse, or listen to the "sell" of products and it was quiet and restfull and the music was peaceful.

My daughter was left with wax residue all over her legs. Bed back was collapsed without informing my daughter.

The therapist was brilliant. I cannot fault her. The rooms are very noisy, not only because its in a shopping centre but people moving furniture in the room next door. I was looking into a light during the facial and the only time it was blocked was when my mask was on. Bed also squeaking.

I feel terrible giving a poor feedback. However, I received a gift card from my daughter for an Express pedicure which costed her $65 from Carindale store. I went to Capalaba for the pedicure. I was expecting a foot bath, lofa and nail care. all I received was my nails cut and filed and nail polish applied. I asked the lady who did the service why I did not receive the full treatment and she said that it is not included even though on the web page an express service for $55 included the above. apart from that my nails were not cut as she said they were too strong. I was disappointed as my cuticles were not even attended too or nails were not buffed. I also paid $55 for an express manicure. Again my nails were cut and then polish applied. I had to keep asking for my nails to be filed as they were sharp at the edges. There wasn't any cuticle treatment or nails buffed. $110 for my nails to be cut and painted I think is extravagant especially for a pension. I recently had a knee reconstruction and awaiting for a shoulder recon. I am unable to bend and take care of my feet. Hence I asked for a pedicure voucher from my daughter who was under the impression she was paying for a treatment. I thought while I was getting a bit of foot pampering, I would have my hands done too. But so disappointed with this treatment. I have been to Elle Bache salon at Carindale and was always happy. The way the service is worded on the brochure is a bit misleading. Whereas the webpage does say from $55 the pedicure and manicure is more than just nails clipped and nail polish applied.
