I’ve been coming to Enlightened for a number of years. I’ve loved the whole experience of the salon, the staffs friendlines, their advice and quality of work. Though I have noticed the last few months I’ve had an appointment the professionalism of the staff dress code is getting worse and worse. Female staff aren’t wearing bras, I can see their nipples through their shirt. Midriffs aren’t covered. I literally had a bare belly over my shoulder while having my colour done. Some staff look like they’re heading to the gym for a pt session, while others looked they like literally hopped off the couch wearing their trackies and crop top and headed straight to work. Beautiful staff - but professional dress is definitely noticed and appreciated, I don’t want bare bellies and nipples in my face when getting my hair done.

I arrived on time and sat there for 30 mins before anyone attended to me. I was almost ready to go back to the counter and ask if I had been forgotten.. I specifically booked in with a certain hairdresser who was recommended to me and waited weeks for this appointment as she was quite booked out. She was lovely but she just put the colour on my roots and never touched my hair again. An apprentice put the colour through the ends and washed my hair then the original hairdresser told me someone else would blowdry it then she would be back to cut it shortly but I never saw her again. The hairdresser who blowdried it asked if they could cut it and I felt as though I was put in the spot and couldn’t say no. Not overly impressed with the customer service but I am happy with the colour I got and the price I paid.

Very disappointed by the price increase and removal of the packages. I love the job completed and service but will compare prices with other salons before returning. Pricing seems more like you would expect to pay in the city or subiaco than a local salon.

The hairdresser Tarlia was brilliant ! Best one i have had at this salon, she is the first to get my colour perfect, very happy !

I have been a regular at Enlighten for several years and always have such a positive experience. It’s my favourite place to come, as I know I leave feeling fresh, fabulously amazing and the staff are always wonderful and friendly. It’s usually a great friendly vibe! This time however was not one of those great times 🥹.

The salon is good overall as this was my 3rd visit, however, when I entered the salon the lady on the reception escorted me inside for a haircut and asked if you would like some tea, water or coffee. I asked for coffee and never got one, not that I was going crazy about a coffee but this definitely shows a negative about the customer service. Definitely want to say the lady who did my haircut was really good and professional. Will be going again for my hair but won't be expecting anything else
