Not sure of the name of the lovely therapist I had today but she was exceptional and gave the best spray tan I think I have ever had. Atmosphere is always great and salon is always very tidy and relaxing.

The therapist seemed more interested in keeping up small talk rather than doing a thorough job of my full leg wax. I don’t have dark hair but I have a number of patches of hair remaining after my wax (and are certainly long enough to be pulled out by the wax which makes me think they missed these patches). Years ago I always admired Ella Bache therapists for their attention to detail with waxes (I’ve had therapists use a pair of tweezers and a close up light just to make sure they got all the long ones). Very disappointed with this experience

I arrived early to my lash lift appointment at Elle Bache Charlestown. The front desk service was lovely, and I’m ok with the result of my lash lift (not the best or worst I’ve had). They were running 15 mins late (which is understandable and not what I’m not happy with) but they chose to end my appointment 15 mins early as a result. I didn’t see another customer whilst I was there, so I’m not sure why my appointment got shortened. Im annoyed that my 60min appointment got reduced to 45mins because of their schedule. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time this has happened to my appoints but it will be the last. They have also raised their prices, which I understand is not the franchise’s decision. I am disappointed with the service and will chose another salon next time. There are many others that offer the same service for much less.

The beautician was very friendly and did a great job. The last couple of times I have been, the service has been different. I always have a brow wax and lash tint- before I would always get a hand massage while my lashes were being tinted- but lately I have had my eyebrows waxed whilst my lashes are tinting. I understand that this is the more time effective option but the hand massage was a lovely touch and it’s a shame that is no longer part of the treatment.
