Djurra: To Create: make or do
Beauty is not skin deep it is a lifestyle choice… Beautiful to those who know that beauty must be hard-won in the mind and the eye as well as in the heart. Djurra promotes a natural beauty that exists in harmony with nature to till and seed our inner essence.
Djurra is beauty that must be viewed with a nurturing soul to experience its colours, patterns and sublime shifts in perspective…. channeling your positive life force.
Existing beauty treatments are still a long, long way from seeing nature’s dreaming and the human heart is not yet fully opened to mother nature’s ancient secret.
We are here to whisper those secrets and encourage and grow those seeds of beauty.

I was quoted $324 for full head foils and long hair cut. I also had their first time offer $30 voucher. It took over three hours and while I'm very happy with the cut, the colour is barely different to what I walked in with. I had light brown hair with old blonde highlights and I asked for dark brown with reddish/copper highlights (with a reference photo). My hair is now marginally darker with a slight red tint but mostly blonde highlights still. As good as the cut is, a subtle colour change (not to mention, not what I asked for), should not cost $401 ($100 deposit when I made the booking and $301 charge at the end of my booking). I doubt I would have been happy to pay $80 more than I was quoted (technically $110 if you count the voucher) if the colour had come out exactly as I asked. I questioned whether that was the correct amount considering my deposit and voucher and was assured that it was correct. At this point I had spent so much time there, I just paid and left. The salon is nice and the people I interacted with were lovely, but it doesn't change the overcharging for a good haircut and a very subtle colour change.
