It was difficult to find an oasis of calm. I had been saving this birthday gift for a special treat and finally booked - just seems I chose the wrong day. The salon was it’s usual busy Saturday but there was a 5y/o being entertained loudly nearby - it felt like I was in a kindergarten. Between a shrieking 5y/o, the constant hairdryers, the business of the basins, and my poor lady being interrupted several times by other stylists asking if she could do a wash / etc next, it was really difficult to relax. The treatment itself was lovely (magic hands!) but I left more tense than I arrived, and with a headache to boot. Please consider moving hair treatments more than 30mins to the spa section during busy days, especially if there are young children around.

very happy with my hair, the overall experience was lovely (with touches like the complimentary hand and neck massages) until i asked for my colour to be redone as it wasn't like how we had discussed at the start of the consultation. The hairdresser was clearly upset with me for asking for the colour to be re done, and was stroppy with me. If it had just been done the way we had discussed at the start of the consultation, i wouldn't have needed it to be re done. I am the one paying the money, and it is my hair, so i should be leaving there happy with the result. but i am very happy with my new hair, i just won't be going back. i was made to feel very uncomfortable while my colour was being redone, and i did nothing wrong! I would've rated this salon much higher if it hadn't ended the way it did.

At $79 for 45 minutes it is far too expensive, particularly when receiving only one coat of polish. All brands of nail polish recommend 2 to 3 coats, so this is very irritating.

I usually see Darcy however he was totally booked up. The colour I requested was totally wrong to what was discussed and shown in a picture. I understand it can't be the same however this is nothing like what I enviasged and got rid of all the lovely blonde Darcy had worked towards for me. I lost my hair to chemo so finally getting it to a nice blonde was a mission and an accomplishment. I have large stripes of blonde now that look terrible hair up or down. I went overseas the following day and have just returned so couldn't get it rectified before I left. I was pretty disappointed with the colour and therefore for the value of money rate low and at this stage wouldn't recommend. I love the salon and the atmosphere and will return as I have tried a few and really want to stick it out!

Make-up, which was meant to be part of the package, was excluded. Therapist left the room after the treatment and failed to return - after saying she would see me in a minute. I waited around but no-one came near me for ten minutes so I left. The massage was really ordinary. All a bit of a shame really because the fit out and ambiance is wonderful. Potential to be a lovely destination with lots of interesting shopping nearby.
