Had balayage for a few times here. The whole experience is good except this time the final look I got is a bit different than the picture I showed to the hair dresser. I would expect a better result considering how much I paid.

I'm disappointed to report that my experience was poor, rushed and resulting in a unsatifilatory result. I arrived 1 min before my scheduled appointment and was seated immediately. I then had to wait 7 minutes before my stylist was ready, and when she arrived she didn't appear to have much time to listen carefully to my needs and desired outcome. It seemed like she was annoyed that I had brought in pics and references of my what/how I like my hair to look like. I was specific about the lengths I desired and what techniques I prefer to be used, my stylist immediately began cutting my sides to what I could tell would become way too short. I re-iterated that I just want the sides tidied up and not too short, she seemed to suggest that she understood and continued cutting away. A few cuts in she was immediately distracted by other duties she needed to do, walking away from me without explaining anything just walking away to another part of the salon. My stylist came back and made 2-3 more cuts and then again needed to chat to some one else in the salon, she appeared to be unfocused and completely distracted by her other work that was running late. I felt I didn't get the full attention of my stylist and that she needed to rush through my hair to get to some other work that was more important. The girl doing my shampoo was the best part of the experience but I was disappointed by the lack of head massage 'ritutation' offered at other salons such as Luc Espace and Tribe Lifestyle. It all seemed so hurried, the 7 minute delay to my start needed to be made up somewhere I just wish it wasn't on my haircut and my experience. My stylist put little to no effort in developing a rapport with me and felt completely disconnected from delivering a good customer experience. I feel this will be the last time I visit Luxe as I got a haircut and experience that was worse than a kids hair cut at Just Cuts.

I love going to this hair salon, the gals and the guys are all so very lovely and attentive. I would definitely recommend this very professional hair salon to friends and family ☺️

Firstly - I am truly grateful for accomodating me for the next day ( I got lucky!) for my appointment. Honestly I was trying my luck as it was so last minute and had a Christmas party the next day. I usually have Ashley/ Rose ( not sure if she is still there) do my cut and colour but I was happy trying someone new. Karla is lovely, she got the colour right and covered my greys really well. I understand she is relatively new. Just a couple of things that would help her further help her and her future customers: 1. I couldn’t help but expect the the same kind of service ( the actual hair colour, cut and customer interaction) as I have had with Ashley, Rose and Rubin. :) They are all friendly and made sure they suggested something keeping in mind what I wanted. 2. I found her to be a little bossy or at least coming across someone who wasn’t friendly and a bit bossy. She asked me about the length of the trim from the hair ends and I said an inch, she asked me whether I was sure and suggested to cut 2 inches, I wasn’t very sure but I said OK. After the colour, she asked again how much should she cut, and I said one inch. To which she replied “ But we agreed to cut 2 inches ( looking annoyed)”. I wasn’t sure why she insisted on it, thinking maybe it’s the colour etc and receded, told her to go ahead. But I decided never to go back to her again! 3. I am also aware, that it’s normal to cross sell hair products or ask the customers about it - here again she came across a little bit pushy ( likely unintentional). 4. The blow dry was not upto the usual Luxe Concept salon standards. I want to, however, mention that the intern/ young lady who washed my hair was super nice and gentle with my tangly hair, I didn’t feel a single hair pulled and didn’t have a single drop of water go on my forehead or in my ears!!! She kept checking the water temperature too, almost intuitively, so the water wasn’t too hot or cold. Also I just wanted to say again, I love you guys and generally have awesome experiences. And this feedback is purely meant for Karla’s development. You may not mention my name, as it’s not personal. Again, I took the the experience as a compromise to at least having my colour and cut done urgently!! Thanks again and Merry X’mas!

I'd been blonde for over 15 years and was wanting a big change so decided to go blonde copper. It was such a big change and my colourist Erin absolutely NAILED it! I showed her one photo of what I wanted and she got it spot on first try. She was so professional and knowledge and made me feel like I was in great hands so I didn't feel nervous at all. Front of house staff were also fantastic making sure I was comfortable and had a drink. Couldn't recommend Luxe more!
