Today I had Andrew for the first time as Zubair was away. He was friendly and got on with the colouring of my hair. The hairdresser who washed my hair gave a a mediocre wash and massage, wetting my face, then 'wringing' off the extra water! Once I got back to the chair she asked me if I would like a product in my hair and I said yes. She actually got another girl to put it in, of that I am not sure why? When she started to 'dry off' my hair I could see it was going to look terrible so I asked if I could use the dryer myself (I was told when I made the app that I could blow dry my own hair). Andrew heard the conversation and came over and started drying my hair. He kept saying you have to make an appointment for a blow dry as we don't have the time. I explained they I was coming again on Friday so I was happy to dry my own hair. He didn't want to listen to me and kept repeating the same thing. He was unfriendly and brusque making me uncomfortable. I have never been to Luxe and had a 'dry off' before and did not know what the process. I would not have had one today if I hadn't been coming again on Friday.

I love coming to see you guys and you always do my hair so well, however, the last time I visited, my experience was a little different then usual. The person who normally does my hair is amazing but, they're always so booked out and are constantly having to ask others pitch in to help. I think it's great that everyone there is so willing to help out, but when the second person leaves the bleach and toner in and says they'll be back in half an hour or ten mins and comes back 25 mins late each time, it doesn't fare too well for my hair. So naturally, the colour is a lot lighter then I originally asked for and it's taking some getting use too. It's just that I'm paying a fair amount for something that didn't really turn out the way I originally described. I enjoy the atmosphere and think everyone there is amazing at their jobs, but I just wish I had a bit more 1 on 1 time with my regular hairdresser so I didn't end up with something different because another individual had forgotten that I was waiting because they were also with another client. Other then that, I do usually enjoy the final result so I will still continue to see luxe in the future :)

Hey there - I had a great hair cut, colour and shampoo...but when did the prices go up? I got charged $425 last visit and this visit was $530. No warning. Pity as this really soured the visit.

It was preety good in the starting but at the end they didn’t even blow dry my hairs properly and the stylist not even come to check and ask at the end if the colour and everything went well. I was feeling neglected . I spend almost $550 on that day on my hairs, I believe i was expecting better customer service and at least a final check from the stylist . I felt rude and neglected.

Jess, the stylist was aggressive and loud in her manner when she was attempting to convey her point across. And she wasn't even my stylist for the consult or on the day, but wanted to give her opinion at every moment. Nas on the other hand, was a very kind and friendly stylist, who actually worked on my hair. She tried really hard to achieve what I wanted. Although instead of what I think is balayage, I think I just go streaks but lower down. I was referred to the salon by someone close. But I'm not sure this salon is 'for me'. It's expensive and I don't think I got what I wanted.
