Despite asking for a trim and fringe tidy, my hair is the shortest it has been in 4 months... I was intentionally growing it. Having my appointment pushed back an hour due to a scheduling error should have been a sign, as I booked the appointment 2 months ago. The Salon was frantic and the outcome Poor today.

Has been a few issues with the service.... first one is about wax at the end, I haven't been ask if I want it or not, he just put it on. Second is the quality of the cut, is a bit messy and un even, specially the beard it came pretty bad.... I had to fix it myself once home. I'll might give you another chance but as first impression is not good. I just moved in the area and I'm looking for my new local hairdresser but I left a bit disappointed. Thanks

I was greeted politely and well looked after but I booked for a new style not just a cut and blow dry. Although my hair looked good after the blow dry, it didn’t look much different to when I walked in. In the three days since my hair cut, not one person has noticed my haircut. I don’t feel I was listened too; the hairdresser was polite but I feel he did the cut he wanted to do and not the cut I asked for. Having to go for another haircut next week.

I understand that Covid has made everything quite difficult and busy, but I paid $485 to have 3 different people work on my hair. The service in this way doesn't reflect the price. Also, while I was at the basin, the girl washing my hair had an issue with that another staff member had said she had told her to come in at 11am and it appeared this was an issue. The staff member then started talking to the colleague next to her about how she didnt say that and kind of denigrating the integrity of that staff member. Not too harshly, but more in a way that probably should have been reserved for not being in the listening ear of clients. It makes the salon seem unprofessional. I love when I have my hair done here, it does look wonderful. No problems with the quality of outcome, but the quality of experience was definitely not that great for the $$$$ paid .

I’ve been to luxe before for a haircut with Andrew and had an amazing experience, this time I’d chosen the winter treatment which was only offered with selected stylists. I had Nas this time and she was fabulous however I’ve realised that my hair has been cut uneven, I’d asked for layers with texturising to help reduce the thickness. The front sections of the hair are what I’d asked for but the back is disappointing and feels likes weird (pictured attached) I initially thought it was the my styling but it’s the haircut as I’ve styled it a few times and it feels and looks uneven at the back. I don’t see the value for money in my experience but have had positive experience at the salon before hence the rating.
