I continue to have trouble with the young people that wash my hair - I either have colour appearing on my pillow or colour appearing on my clothes after I leave the salon. Neither is acceptable.

The lady at reception was lovely! Very welcoming and attentive! My hairdresser seemed nice, she did seem a bit stressed/rushed. I think she could also find softer ways to ask to ask customer to move head for example. She is quite young so wouldn’t be aware of this, but I think once told she would be fine. My hair does look good today! I noticed she asked one of the other hairdressers for help but they said no, and they went home. So I can see why she feels pressured not having any support.

The salon was really busy and noisy, which could be because it was a Friday. Also, I’m not too happy with the colour I got done. I’m going to let it sit for a couple days and see if the brassy tones settle.

Stylists are way too overbooked, making the experience impersonal and rushed and the salon hectic. My colour took 3 hours, and the cut a maximum of 10 minutes with no styling or product after the drying. I felt not trusted with feedback on my own hair type. Unfortunately my last experience at this salon, for the price I paid I was very underwhelmed with this experience. The massage is always wonderful!

Firstly - I am truly grateful for accomodating me for the next day ( I got lucky!) for my appointment. Honestly I was trying my luck as it was so last minute and had a Christmas party the next day. I usually have Ashley/ Rose ( not sure if she is still there) do my cut and colour but I was happy trying someone new. Karla is lovely, she got the colour right and covered my greys really well. I understand she is relatively new. Just a couple of things that would help her further help her and her future customers: 1. I couldn’t help but expect the the same kind of service ( the actual hair colour, cut and customer interaction) as I have had with Ashley, Rose and Rubin. :) They are all friendly and made sure they suggested something keeping in mind what I wanted. 2. I found her to be a little bossy or at least coming across someone who wasn’t friendly and a bit bossy. She asked me about the length of the trim from the hair ends and I said an inch, she asked me whether I was sure and suggested to cut 2 inches, I wasn’t very sure but I said OK. After the colour, she asked again how much should she cut, and I said one inch. To which she replied “ But we agreed to cut 2 inches ( looking annoyed)”. I wasn’t sure why she insisted on it, thinking maybe it’s the colour etc and receded, told her to go ahead. But I decided never to go back to her again! 3. I am also aware, that it’s normal to cross sell hair products or ask the customers about it - here again she came across a little bit pushy ( likely unintentional). 4. The blow dry was not upto the usual Luxe Concept salon standards. I want to, however, mention that the intern/ young lady who washed my hair was super nice and gentle with my tangly hair, I didn’t feel a single hair pulled and didn’t have a single drop of water go on my forehead or in my ears!!! She kept checking the water temperature too, almost intuitively, so the water wasn’t too hot or cold. Also I just wanted to say again, I love you guys and generally have awesome experiences. And this feedback is purely meant for Karla’s development. You may not mention my name, as it’s not personal. Again, I took the the experience as a compromise to at least having my colour and cut done urgently!! Thanks again and Merry X’mas!
