My friend booked me in for a 30 minute pedicure. When I got to the room I was asked if I had gel or polish to which I replied I had gel. The lady, I felt, got annoyed and said they don’t have drills and they are supposed to soak the gel off and next time mention it when you book. To which I replied I did not book it. The gel had been on there for sometime so it was easily removed. I was then charged $80 for a pedicure that was a toenail cut, slight buffer on my feet and gel polish. I have since had to re file most nails as they are cut on the angle with a sharp point. I won’t go back to any Ella bache for this as it was an extremely overpriced cut and paint of my toe nails.

I booked a brow/lip wax, which I have had at this salon many times without a problem. Today was the worst experience, I was kept waiting 20mins past my appointment time, then the technician got wax in my hair which she tried to remove but then snipped my hair! She obviously thought I hadn't noticed but I did. No apology given. I also feel the treatment was rushed and she even went as afr as asking if I wanted soothing lotion after the treatment, I thought that was standard practice.

I’m a bit disappointed to be honest. My daughter just came back from getting her eyebrows waxed and and she is covered in waxy strings all over her face and neck. She said she felt really rushed and like the girl didn’t care and seemed irritated by her. Such a shame we’ve never had a bad experience like this with you guys before.

I booked a one-hour facial, and received a 45-min facial. Not the first time this has happened at this salon. The description of the facial when I made the booking was also not what I received. Not impressed at all and would not recommend this salon to anyone.

My facial was the worst - it was rough, pressure of throat / neck blocking my airway, not gentle turning my head, she kept coughing / clearing throat and heavy breathing Never offered any skin advice like normal or how’s your products going I didn’t get the gua sha stone treatment with facial that has a cooling effect to reduce swelling and redness, for circulation to face. Never received herbal tea or water offer at end like usual I had to remind her I don’t have dark black tint when she said I just have to get it. My eyebrows are very dark and eyelashes missing tint. She got tint on my shoulder and roughly removed it. I got wax across my nose and mouth (like a hair but it was wax). I had to remind her I have a Vasoline to line my eyes before tint went on as her way stings my eyes. Also vacuum noise was going for half the facial. And lots of noise from people talking. It was not relaxing at all.
