Shahin and Kunal Joshi have been a team in the beauty industry for 11 years, working in the busiest shopping centre in Perth. Originally operating under a franchise system, Shahin and Kunal both felt that they could offer more to their clients and the industry by operating under their own brand. And so Bang on Brows was born.


What makes them such a great team? Both are dedicated to providing their customers with the ultimate salon experience. Shahin manages the salon and training, with Kunal bringing his management, sales and marketing skills to the mix. Over the past 11 years Shahin has shaped and enhanced more than 80,000 brows. She has also trained more than 70 staff in brow shaping and other brow and lash services.

The technician was lovely and did a great job. It was great to have the option of wax or threading. It was spotlessly clean. The window was clear, I’d suggest something for additional privacy such as large decals. The price was a bit higher and I didn’t see a repeat customer incentive.

Although I do not live in the area, I like your store in Southlands, Willetton, as it is not an open kiosk in the middle of the mall, as in many other shopping centres, so your store affords its clients better of privacy. Your therapist Kumudu was very friendly, polite and was very happy to fit in with an appointment time that suited me, although I was a walk in customer.

Although I didn't make an appointment, the Indian brow artist slotted me in. Happy about that! I only had a little difficulty in understanding the other Asian brow artist.

set was not what was planned, gaps on outer edges , excess glue to the point of crunchy bases and inner upper lashline (which I , clearly stated irritated the inner eye, and indicated where i have no issues with the extension line beginning at and onwards from in that area) was totally ignored and i had very red irritations especially my right eye after the set was "completed'. i also asked if my previous set removal post new set could have causd the stinging and irritations i had during the new set being applied - I havent had that done before so was wanting to see if it was a factor to consider seeing as Ive nver had reactions to lash products and extensions/ glues etc before. I was told "no, lots of people have removal before new set and not having what i did really. it was almost 5pm on NYE so i was told that "maybe when i come back next it will be done a bit better like what the pictur was like" by the person who did my set. I would not go back there. but said at the time " oh maybe if i come for refills then they can be fixed up?" and the tech nodded and said yes , then we went to payment. they asked what i thought when they finished, I was honest that it was not at all like the pictures wed looked at so they understood the fluffy cat eye style before beginning, and at that point i pointed out the gaps so the lash tech gave me a spoolie and said i should try using that to get better placement. they were sore at the base and to spoolie for the first 4 days and lots snapped off even during cleansing with my lash shampoo & cleansing brush followed by spoolie to fan post cleanse and dry.
