The Source Hairdressing has been established since 2007 and has gone on to win several awards in that time , from Best Business , Best customer Service ,and Environmental Sustainability , to name just a few.
Sophia has over 28 years experience in Hairdressing , and was trained in London , working around the world and in top London salons including the prestigious Harvey Nichols. Sophia specialises in precision cutting, colour, and curly hair, creating her new “ Embrace your Curls” range.
We only use Aveda which is up to 98% naturally derived, which leaves the hair beautifully shiny and damage free.
Our professional stylists will give you advice and inspiration based on their wealth of knowledge. All colours and cuts are customised to suit your specific needs.

I love the avedic philosophy and believe its a growing area. I like that source is located in a Street front shop and not a shopping centre. Ive always felt the service is fantastic and the Little spiritual pampering at the start a nice added touch ! The only point of difference from competitors would be the quality of fit out but to be honest if that means paying more for treatments then Iā€™d rather cost effective visits to the salon than fancy surroundings. Im not suggesting a glossy pretentious fitout like Maurice Mead either (I find that tacky, as expensive as it would have been). Just a bit of a refresh and tidy up could be good.

Very professional and attentive staff in a relaxed and comfortable environment. In addition to getting a great haircut and colour with quality products you feel very pampered with a sensory experience, head massage and cups of tea.

I saw Belinda, she had a big job ahead of her as my hair was in a messy colour and cut state after having it done by another hairdresser at another salon. I am so pleased with how Belinda transformed my hair. I booked my next 3 appointments ahead. Thank you so much! Highly recommend this salon. The staff are friendly, professional and the atmosphere is calming and beautiful. The sound of the waterfall is meditative. The herbsl teas are beautiful. The best experience at a hair salon I have had so far and, I am 55.

I have been going to the Source for many years. They would have to be the best hairdresser I have been to . The service , decor and the vibe is one in a million. I would tell ever one to try it.
