When it came time to pay. It would have been nice if I was given the option to pay by EFTPOS instead of paying the cc surcharge.

I was happy with my trim but it cost way more than expected considering it was quite a simple one. Air ventilation could be improved as there was a strong chemical smell.

The haircut was great, and being able to book online is good. I purchased a ladies style cut as it was a bit more than a trim. The stylist tried to upsell me on a wash/blow dry service for an extra $20. She went on and on that they can’t cut dry hair with product in it and wet it at the shampoo station as if to make her point. Then she said she couldn’t really finish the fringe unless it was dry so. She dried my fringe. I was tearing up as I’m 64 and don’t want to pay extra for washing and drying my hair. I just want it cut nicely. I found she pulled my hair really hard and when ‘fluffing’ my hair she knocked my head like no hair dresser has ever. I went to my car instead of completing my shopping and had a cry. I take her advice about washing product out of my hair before coming to the salon - which I will next time but if a style cut is advertised, then I should be able to ask for that and not be bullied into paying more. I had a horrible time and I don’t know if I will book again. There was a sign at the front desk asking customers to be kind to the staff as they were understaffed but staff also don’t know customers circumstances and a bit of kindness going the other way would be nice.
