*** CREDIT/REWARD - Patrice from Melbourne Central Branch is a phenomenal beauty therapist. She is always happy, engaging and does a fantastic job with her waxing and I always leave the salon very happy. I hope she will be given recognition for her excellent work if haven't already. *** CRITICISM - Last year I came into Essential Beauty (Melbourne Central) and I got a 'semi permanent beauty spot' on my cheek. I was told by a beauty therapist that it was NOT permanent and would eventually fade within 6 months. It has been over a year now and the beauty spot still remains and the ink has actually run, creating a bigger 'beauty spot'. As a result I have been to a Dermatologist and have had 1 laser session done in the attempt to remove it. 1 laser session has proven not to be enough and I plan to have my 2nd session done and possible even a third if necessary. Having heard my story and having heard what the Dermatologist has said, I request you remove the name 'semi-permanent' as there is no such thing and evidently it is not so.

A representative did my wax that I haven't had before. I wasn't happy with the overall bikini wax that I received as when I got home I saw that there were unremoved/visible hairs. Also the time that the wax took was double compared to other times I have had the wax done at the same centre. I will make sure that I ask for one of the other ladies who usually waxes me as im happy with the service they perform.

This afternoon, I had my nose hairs waxed at your Melb Central branch, but went back a few minutes later to get the job completed. The therapsit had done the back of the nostrils very well, but not the front part, and they were still quite hairy. However, a different therapist did a bit more waxing, and the finished result is fantastic - thanks very much. My other gripe was the price I was charged. The first time I attended your business I was charged $10 for both nostrils - this time, it was $17.95 for both, and the till receipt stated "Wax Male Ears". I queried this, and was told that the first time must have been a mistake, as you now charge $17.95, and that yes, the procedure is the same price as having a Male Ear Wax. It might be a good idea to update your brochure to include male nostril waxing, as this procedure doesn't appear there at the moment. But thanks again - the service was great and you are the cheapest and most convenient around Melbourne CBD.
