Honestly I’m so so sosososo pleased with my experience! Every time I’ve ever been to Daly salon I’ve had the best experience. I really dread salons because I’m bad at small talk and also have trouble communicating what I want from a haircut and every single time I go to Daly Salon I end up with an amazing hairstylist who somehow gives me exactly what I need? I’m pretty happy to let hairstylists do what they need to do, but at Daly they listen to little offhand comments you make and tailor the cut to really give you what you want. Todays shout out goes to Kelsey - I haven’t been back to daly since working out I have wavy hair. I desperately needed a trim and my length meant that my hair was weighed down and my waves had lost a lot of definition. Kelsey immediately understood what I wanted and delivered it perfectly without sacrificing my overall length. Even before the blow dry I was amazed at the difference in my hair. Kelsey also was super kind and encouraging throughout and was genuinely engaged in what they were doing. Just an amazing experience from top to bottom. They were so plugged in….I mentioned my hair felt heavy and lifeless and weighed me down, Kelsey cut the front to open my face up more and let me feel freer and lighter. And I do feel both of those things now. But probably the best part was the fact that Kelsey offered me my choice of having my hair diffused or blown out afterwards. I have friends with hair that’s far curlier than mine that have never been offered that option, just given a blowout by default. I genuinely didn’t even know getting it scrunched and diffused was an option. Getting to see my waves come back to life was really really amazing and made me so happy. It was such a small gesture that meant so much! I even bought the mousse at Kelsey’s recommendation because I was so impressed. So thanks to Daly for every amazing haircut, and thanks to Kelsey for being amazing today. I wish I had a better picture that properly showed off how great my hair looks but here I am on the way home. Trust me when I walked in my hair looked lifeless, was almost completely straight, and dead at the ends. Now it’s bouncy, healthy, and my texture is back. If anyone else has hair like mine, fine, wavy 2C hair….take this photo as proof that they know what they’re doing at Daly. I honestly can’t stop looking at my hair now. I’m so genuinely stoked with how today turned out!
