I enjoyed the massage element of my treatment, however, when it came to the facial, I could have come home and scrubbed my face and applied a mask as that's all it felt like. The therapist didn't explain what she was doing for the facial nor did she explain what was going to be used on my face at the time (it was listed at checkout only), there was no skin consult prior, I am not a regular customer so details regarding my skin would not be up to date. Further, the therapist also left the room without saying that was what she was going to do and remained absent for the duration of the mask which was ~20 min. Historically, when I have had facials elsewhere, the therapist would spend time either massaging hands, head or feet while the mask was on to complete the experience. I have never had someone leave the room for that period of time. I understand ducking out intermittently for other reasons but I felt this was extended and not worth the $125.00. Also, it seems a bit of a safety breach as if I had an allergy or needed attention for any means I would have had to get up and find someone in the clinic.
