I really wanted to like this place after hearing great things + I love the aesthetic! Unfortunately I feel it wasn't great, and ended up being an unflattering version of a cut that normally looks sharp and suits my features well. Honestly I should've been more careful knowing that not everyone works with thick hair well, and went with soonest online booking with whoever was available. There wasn't much understanding of style, my hair texture, and how it sits. I feel soo terrible to have to write a bad review, but this cut ain't it, and it's going to be hard for me to get it fixed with post lockdown wait times :(

Frank is fantastic, aways on time, engaging runs a very groovy and up beat salon. All the team are great. Not to mention his quality hair styling.

I've been going to Fur Hairdressing since 2015 - and have been to a number of their salons over these years (City, Greville St, and now their current location in Fitzroy.) I've chosen to always go to one of their salons because I trust the quality and professionalism of any staff member from Fur. I've gone from long hair, to super short with an undercut and always trusted that no matter the change, it would come out great. Today, I had my hair cut by Eri for the first time - after a quick explanation of what I was looking for and some photos she whipped out the perfect haircut in no time. She instantly understood the texture, of my hair and the way it sits naturally and shaped the cut to suit me perfectly. would highly recommend!
