Hello, it’s a really wonderful salon, and this was my second visit. The experience was not great, I’m really disappointed with my colour as it is not at all what was asked for. Having requested a balayage with subtle blonds and walking out with essentially a full head of blond foils and what looks like bad re-growth. The highlights are really uneven as well. The service overall was not great, the apprentices at the basin were complaining about being busy and the stylist made me feel incredibly uncomfortable when I declined a treatment. The salon itself is amazingly beautiful, but I don’t think I’ll be back and I based on this visit (the first was wonderful) would not recommend others.

I’ve had really good experiences with head studio before and came back because of this. I’m pretty happy with the result, but a few things let it down this time. Was quoted really high to begin with and declined it. Ended up happy with the price after we changed the plan a little. The poor girl who was taking care of washing towels, making coffee and cleaning was not having a good day and overhearing how she was being spoken to, I’m not surprised. Conversation with staff was awkward and I think the apprentice washing my hair needs a little more practise. I would even think that for this price point I might expect to only have experienced staff looking after me. I won’t be back.

Hi, I was told over the phone the appointment was likely to cost $165. When I went to pay the cost was $50 over that. No one gave me a coat estimate or told me it was going to cost anything different throughout the appointment. When I said this I was told that I should have been given a quote at the start of the appointment, but this didn't happen.

Unfortunately the stylist did not listen to how I wanted my hair styled (I also showed them a photo). I assume they just curled my hair how they always curl hair and didn’t actually style the front of it the way I asked. The curls were also very different to what I asked for. Plus I paid a premium price. I ended up tying my hair up for my event instead as I really didn’t like it. I have my hair curled a lot at other salons and they always manage to give me what I ask for and for a much better price. Very disappointing and expensive. Unfortunately I won’t go back.

The cost is extremely expensive for what i got I thought my colour was great There seems a lot of pre consultation prior but not a lot of listening I paid $520 the most I have ever paid for a colour and cut and I unfortunately paid $150-200 over I have had better haircuts for less. I am curious to know in my quote how much the haircut component was? Unfortunately the lady cutting my hair seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but cutting my hair I felt rushed and she was rough. My scalp was burnt during blowdry to the point i pulled away. My ear was burnt I nearly said stop a few times I just wanted it to end but didnt want to be an annoying customer. I was argued with when questioned my cut. I got back to my hotel to see the layers looked like a ladder there was no blending Unfortunately not to impressed with the cut for the cost In the end i really needed a good cut n colour I could have done without all the bells n whistles wine etc for just a good style cut n colour for $200 less Im 😞 sorry
