Hi guys, Just as some constructive feedback. I had come into the salon asking for soft waves which I have been to head studio many times before to do and have never left disappointed.. However asking for the same soft waves which I know my hair holds curls quite well, I was expecting the same. There must have been a miscommunication perhaps? But after my shampoo my hair was blow dried which sure this makes sense but receiving direction a staff member blow dried my hair pretty much dead straight and explained that this was to dry it off and then the curling iron was to be put through. I’m not the expert here so I am going to trust that was the process even though previously I would have just had a blast dry and then either twisty dry via the blow dryer and then put the curling iron through to really hold the curls. However with the blowdry being dead straight and then the curling iron, my hair last all for about an hour as the straightening during the drying process far too much made the hair straight. Again perhaps just miscommunication between the staff I’m not sure but for quite a decent sum of money I would have expected better. Thanks

While everyone was friendly and the atmosphere good, I did not receive the colour I asked for. I booked in for a balayage special $299 and paid $360- not sure why I paid more. I asked for an icy blonde that sparkled and have left with hair the same as I arrived. Nothing new or worth upwards of $300 and over 3.5 hours. I expressed my concern as I was leaving and was advised to get in touch if I felt the same when I got home. I emailed the next day to say I didn’t receive what I asked for and feel like i spent money on a service not received. That was on Monday. It’s now Thursday afternoon and I have not heard from anyone. I’m very disappointed and would not recommend going to this salon. I’m considering contacting the ombudsman for service not delivered.

This is my second time to this salon, the first time was good but this time I am beyond devastated at how my hair turned out. I'm quite sure that the foils were placed in my hair all the way down and to already very blonde areas. when the bleach was washed out and toner put in, a hairbrush was dragged through my just bleached hair so roughly that I had tears in my eyes and I could hear my hair ripping. When I was getting blow dried I felt more pain on my scalp and noticed large red bumps on my scalp, I had them in a line across my head which turned into large scabs and are still healing. I was given a little treatment to take home - which didn't help at all but I appreciate the effort. my hair is now completely dry, split, snapping off and I have a chemical haircut from so much breakage, before this I had my hair foiled once before over 3 months ago and my hair was so healthy, I am beyond upset I paid $350 to completely ruin my hair. I really regret getting the service done and I'm considering my other options.

Literally given the opposite of the haircut that I requested. Distraught. Just asked for a bit of the ends and specifically described how I liked it (I've had the same haircut for a decade), specifying 'no short layers' - I was given the Rachel. I'm absolutely distraught.

After years of walking past the salon and friends recommending it I was looking forward to my appointment. I decided to go with one of their packages consisting of a full head of foils, cut and blow wave. I chatted with the colour consultant about what I wanted and she recommended a metal detox and root fade, which added an additional $100 to the quote. Foils went on and I was prepared to wait a little longer as I know my hair takes a while to lift. Two hours later I was led to the basin where I was attended to by another stylist. This is where things quickly went downhill. After taking out the foils she gave my hair a shampoo to prepare for the toner. After I was towel dried she noticed there was still shampoo in my hair, so back to rinsing and drying. After what seemed to be 10-15min she came to apply the toner, put it on followed by lots of whispering behind my back, toner quickly got rinsed off and my scalp got blasted with boiling water, it wasn’t just hot, it was painful. The girl apologised and went off again to figure out the correct toner (another 15 min). Second attempt at toner went on - had to suffer through lots of jabbing, pulling and having product smeared all over my forehead. I was pretty fed up at this point so went to the bathroom to clean up my face. After a total of 2 hrs at the basin I was finally passed on to yet another stylist for my cut and blow wave. The entire process took FIVE HOURS and cost me $400. Whilst I was happy with the colour it wasn’t the best I’ve had, nor was the blow wave, which didn’t last the drive home before it went frizzy. Good thing I kept my quote as I nearly got charged another $50 for a treatment I was never made aware of. The manager didn’t seem to be very interested in my experience and glossed over the feedback. She said it was a busy time of year and that staff were doing their best but I think if that is the case then the salon should roster on more staff or commit to fewer clients. Five hours for a full head of foils is unacceptable. Positives: the salon is lovely and staff keep customers well plied with cocktails and wine. Negatives: hit and miss staff who can’t cope under pressure and an arrogant manager who can’t be bothered addressing poor service. The music is bad and super loud. Overall, not worth the money and there are more professional salons in Perth. If you have all the time in the world and money isn’t an issue then maybe this place will appeal but I won’t be returning.

I waited half an hour for my treatment without any excuse by the trainee. I was charged $200 for face framing done by a student just to look exactly how I did before visiting the salon. It was a price without cutting or all over colour. A professional hairdresser would charge the same but I would be able to see a difference. For a treatment where I couldn't choose a tone or a treatment and there were before and after photos taken of me iflt was ridiculously expensive. The place is nice thought.
