The lady at reception was lovely as she always is however I found the girl that cut my hair to not be overly friendly and I didn’t feel as comfortable as I usually do. I do not like how she cut my curtain bangs, I have never seen them cut the way she did and I find they don’t look great

Friendly staff who offered professional guidance and realistic expectations of desired colour. Good atmosphere in the salon which was very hip and played fun music. Purchased a package using a special so the value for money was very good. However, the cut was just a 5 minute trim. A little disappointed that there was no form of head massage during the shampoo/conditioning - particularly after spending a long time brushing out knots from foils. Otherwise very good. Colour outcome was better than expected. Will return.

I was cheerfully greeted upon my arrival & ushered to a table to wait for my initial consult. I was offered a coffee & it wasn’t long before I met the staff that would be colouring & cutting my hair I was happy that they listened to the vision I had for my hair & then proceeded to put a plan in place. The cutting was the easy part, but the colouring wasn’t straight forward. I wanted to retain my greyish salt & pepper roots & then gradually blend down the length of my long hair to dark ends. It was an uncommon request, but the colourist considered my options, liased with other staff, then discussed the pros & cons with me as to the best way forward. I felt that she had given me enough information and I was happy for her to proceed. Throughout the whole process, all of the staff either assisted or had some input explaining each step along the way. I was in the salon for most of the day and the friendly staff regularly checked on my comfort or asked if I needed anything. I now know that due to the process involved in reaching my original vision, that it will take maybe one or two more visits to attain that look, but I am more than happy to return to Head Studio and the wonderful staff to help achieve what I want. At the end of the day my hair looked great, felt healthy and it had a beautiful blend of colour that I was very happy with. Thank you ladies.
