Overall I was underwhelmed with my experience, actually sad to a certain degree. I’ve worked in customer service and understand the pressures and believe in constructive feedback but this I was a bit speechless. My hair ended up taking 5 hours (initially I was told max 4), for a full set of foils, some toners, literally a trim, a what was meant to be curtain bangs cut in and a blow dry, this cost $580 which I felt was very excessive after seeing the end result. The costs for toner and a metal remover they use in toner was $80 on its own which I found allot, your not even using a bottle and your charging customers bottle price plus you choose to use metal remover to help your clients hair being your promoting healthiness, why charge us? Initially the place was calm but got chaotic very quick as expected on a Saturday, their service of water, food offering etc was lovely but for me that was in the first hour and then stopped, you could tell by the end they were running behind. I believe I sat in a basin chair for an hour waiting for hair wash and toners to be put on. My colourist was lovely, I do like my colour, she knew my vision, still wanting to work with my natural, low maintenance colour wise as I like to let it grow out a bit for health and she was able to execute that, very happy with my colour. i had explained to her what I wanted to do with my trim/curtains bangs cut and she seemed to fully vision it and believed it would suit me, my hair texture. Once colouring was done I was then passed on to someone else for a cut, I explained the same thing regarding cut and bangs, they responded they understood. Trim was fine, done in wet hair, I then explained to them about the curtain bangs part, what issues I had before and if this could be fixed if I cut them in again, would it suit me, he responded yes and that was it so being I’m not a hairdresser I trusted his advice and went with it. I felt like my fringe was butchered, it was not falling the way he was trying so if he can’t do it how am I, when I questioned him after he responded it’s cause of my type of hair, why did he Let me cut them in? I truly would not of if he said no as he’s the specialist, we pay for their expertise. It did not look like curtain bangs at the end, the blow dry was also meant to be loose curls, it was more like flat blow dry with ends curled, at the end I felt like a 70/80s hairstyle which was a bit embarrassing, I didn’t want to vocalise it then/cause a scene and just wanted to leave. Good way to start my birthday night.

Hi team, the experience is always great and welcoming/relaxing. Yesterday however, I had two stylist blowydry my hair “smooth” and both had a different blow dry technique so one side of my hair was smooth and the other side had quite a lot of volume. My hair dropped out completely by the time I got back to my hotel on Murray street. I’ve added a photo.

My technical stylist was lovely however at the end of my visit- when paying at the front counter, a different lady saw my cut from the front- and asked her to redo one side- as it wasn’t even. She told the stylist that it can be tricky when the hair dries. It was then obvious that she was inexperienced as I had to go back to get it fixed. The lady at the front counter did not see the back of my hair- so it concerns me that the cut is not well done. For the price I paid- I am not confident in the hairdressers ability- from this encounter. I have also never experienced a hairdresser who rotates my chair to different sides- in order for her to cut. It is also a little confusing how I chose a different named hairdresser on the booking form- but it changed to another on the day. The atmosphere was lovely and the hairdresser was lovely but obviously needs more experience. I probably will never return to the salon- or recommend it, from this experience.

I usually love coming to the salon as it is a relaxing experience for me. However this time I felt that there was a lack of communication between the staff and myself. I came in to get regular foils done - something I have done many times but what would usually take 2.5 / 3 hours ended up taking 4 - 4.5 hours with no real communication on when I'd be finished my treatment. This usually wouldn't be a problem but I had someone looking after my son for this time and I had to keep pushing the childcare further and further. When I sat waiting for my foils the staff said it would take 35 mins and I think almost an hour later I still hadn't been spoken to or been brought my water that I asked for. I spent an uunusually long time in the basin and had the feeling that something had gone wrong and that they were trying to figure out how to fix it whilst I sat there. Considering the time it took and the amount I paid - $450 I would've expected a bit more communication and sympathy. I saw that the girl opposite me also complained of not being told how long her foils were on for too so didn't feel like the only one going through it.

Really disappointed as to how misleading the 'starting from' price was. I had two tapes (roughly 30mm each side - $240 'installed') I said a couple of times I don't think I needed. They've already been removed as my partner noticed them immediately & asked if I had sticky tape in my hair !! Almost doubled the price I was expecting to pay - couldn't offer me an itemised receipt just an eftpos. More than happy to pay $1270 if I was ready for that expense & if I was correctly advised. Be careful when you have 'gloss' or whatever they put on the extensions - think that cost an extra couple of hundred too. Cass, was lovely. She did a great job under the circumstances. I feel like I was robbed a bit, won't recommend the salon to any Perth friends & will definitely not be back unfortunately. Looks great in a photo.. not practical at all & now have 7 days to rectify before my sisters wedding. Also.. please do not send me any deals/offers etc
