Was not the level of skill in balayage as promised on thier Web site, instead I got a head full of fine foils that needs a lot of maintenance to look acceptable not a natural look that works with my natural colour that will grow out nicely. Very disappointing 😞

My first visit the senior hairdresser asked what I wanted, I showed a photo and then she proceeded to do my hair. I was a bit confused because she didnt ask me what I liked about the hair and what colour I wanted. When I got to the toner another girl did my toner and I was confused again hoping that the colour in the picture I showed was happening, however upon my blow dry I was 10 shades lighter than I had shown. The balayage was blocky and parts of my fringe were missed, left quite upset. My hair was redeemed a few days later after making a complaint, Kate absolutely saved my hair and Im so greatful and more confident as she gave me the time and a thorough consult on what I wanted. For this reason only Ill be back to the salon for future hair appointments, however the original senior stylist needs to learn to find out what the client wants and do a thorough consult.

I feel as though what I received did not match the price I paid. I had an amazing stylist who did my foils and made me feel really comfortable. However, I feel as though the toner and cut are not worth the price. I paid for a root fade which I definitely did not get and a treatment that was the same price as a k18 treatment at other salons but no where near the same in terms of results. My hair is decent, I just don’t think it is worth the price I paid.

I booked for Georgia, but another guy came said I will do your balayage today. They didn't explain why he was doing my hair. Even I booked for Georgia. Anyway, I started my hair as he was nice. But it wasn't blended well, so Georgia was fixing my hair. I spent more time, more chemicals on my hair and had to cancel my another appointment. The final result is pretty okay, but I am just not feeling good with the service. I really want to get a refund or discount as if I would know the different person is doing my hair. I don't need to book this place.

I went in today as I received a call that they wanted to fix my hair colour free of charge as they weren’t happy with it when they dyed it last week, when I went in i told them that I was a little disappointed last week because I asked for peach hair and I showed them a photo from their own Instagram of a previous client of theirs and said I wanted that hair colour; I ended up with pink hair that day which was quite a shock but I had pink hair several times before and I thought it was a nice colour so I was ok with it although it wasn’t what I asked for. This time I got very orange/ copper hair colour; I’m pretty disappointed with this colour as it’s not what I asked for and again referenced the photo on their own Instagram of their clients soft peach hair but I didn’t quite get the same as the photo.I’m pretty disappointed in general because I really like head studios and have been going there a few years now, I’m thinking about not going back after this. I don’t mean to offend but it’s not fun to spend $600 on your hair and not get what you want and then go in to get it fixed and it ends up being even worse. I think a lot more communication and clarity from the hair dresser would have helped and if she didn’t think I would be able to achieve the colour I wanted I would have preferred she be honest with me so I don’t have to end feeling like I look clown.
