Although the staff and the atmosphere was lovely at Heading Out Salon, the actual haircut and colour was appalling. I have never sent in a bad review before, but i felt that this was necessary. My fringe (which was meant to be a long tapered Alexa Chung style fringe) was so uneven and blunt that i had to go home and cut it into a bang, Which is exactly the style i didn't want in the summer months. One side was angle cut at earlobe length, the other side was blunt cut sitting on my cheekbone, it looked ridiculous. The colour, although a lovely colour, was nothing like what i showed the hairstylist, and i walked out of there with grey hairs still on display, and darker hair when i asked for lighter hair. Basically i paid nearly $300.00 for something i didnt ask for, nor like. Pretty unhappy, and wont be heading back.

I went in only wanting a cut and blowdry but the final price ended up being almost $130!! When the hairdresser said she would put treatment in my hair, I assumed this was included in the normal $80 cut/blowdry price, however it was an add on. I was not aware of this. I should have been made aware that this was an add on and I would have to pay a significantly more expensive experience.

I had my first appointment with Tyla over the weekend and I definitely left happy! She really took the time to go over hair product and colour charts with me before we started, I really appreciated that! I would absolutely reccomend her to any of my friends! Great service, great stylist, and also really good tea :)
