I had my brows tinted and waxed by Maiya. I was a little nervous as I have never had this done before, but walked me through the process. She did a great job and it looks amazing. Before my haircut with Lee, I had a Blue Oil treatment with Ciara. She gave me the best head/neck/shoulder massage before bringing me to the basin for my shampoo/conditioner. It was so relaxing - she did a great job. Everyone at the salon is really welcoming and friendly. They really listen to what you want and make good suggestions for products that will help improve your hair. Grace recommended some Kerastase shampoo & conditioner that make my hair look and feel amazing.

I really want to pay praise to the team that work at the Bourke St salon!. The customer service is amazing. I walk through the door and i am always greeted with a big and genuine smile and 'how ya going'. Lewis has been my stylist everytime and i've booked my appointment's with him because he clearly understands 'hair' and how it needs to be cut but still gives the cut/style that i've asked for. The head massage prior to the haircut is such a fantastic start. I live in the UK and i fly to Australia for work very regularly throughout the year. I now try and plan my work trips for when i'm due a haircut.

Can't say enough good things about Chantelle, Maya and the rest of the crew at Heading Out. I consider visits to the salon and getting my hair done a definite splurge but a worthwhile one - Chantelle's colour, cuts and amazing blow waves last, and as a result my hair stays in great condition even if I miss an appointment and neglect it for a while. You never feel rushed even though you may be the last appointment of the day and you don't feel pressured into buying any products or treatments. There are closer salons to my work or home, but I will make the effort to go to Heading Out because of Chantelle, Maya, Grace and the rest and the end results they produce.

Everyone was lovely and welcoming. And Lewis was an absolute gem and listened to how I wanted my hair styled and created an amazing look for me. Will rate back next time I'm in Melbourne.
