The hairdresser that did my hair could do with a few more lessons on "teasing" (back-combing) the hair to give volume. When I get my hair done at the Salon (that I normally go to) my hair set lasts for 3 to 4 days (at half the price that I paid at your Salon). My hair went flat 2 to 3 hours after it was done at your Salon, and there was no Rain or Wind to blame !! Noone would've said that I had been to a Hairdresser that day !!

I didn't like that the hairdresser spent my whole appointment trying to sell me more products when the service was expensive enough. She also tried to push me into a new (very expensive appointment) without being open from the outset about how much it would cost.

The staff are so nice I feel rude saying if I'm not happy with the end result. Example I had a colour and blow wave when asked how I would like it blow waved I said lots of body and wet to dry , the stylist said 'so u don't want me to dry it off?' And I came out with dead straight hair not what I was expecting or after but she was so polite and it was the end of the day I felt like I would be rude by saying something, I regret not saying something as I love a good blow wave and hate having dead straight hair not to mention the cost of the ' blow wave'. Some of the pricing is a little over the top considering its over $300 for colour,and half a head of foil plus blow dry not even a cut - most women need this service every six to eight weeks at that price it can be difficult to maintain a relationship with heading out long term. I think for the money charged there should notes in file of how the client likes their hair blow waved for example. Otherwise the overall customer experience delivered by the staff is next to none.

I'm a little disappointed that finding a regular hairdresser is a struggle at Heading Out. I have had two very good hairdressers now leave. My last haircut wasn't up to the standard of the previous staff, but I'm prepared to try once more and see if we can get it right, as I have enjoyed getting my hair cut at the salon.

I was asked if I wanted someone to speak to me about how I am treating my hair, I was not given a chance to do so and I was confused about whether my hairdresser was the one I should ask or if someone was going to approach me. I treatment was OK but I'm not sure if it was worth my money since there are many treatments you can buy that will do the job for a cheaper price.

I had to wait approx 50 minutes before I was attended too. I was told they were running a little behind. I then waited again for my haircut - which I felt was rushed. It is not the stylist's fault, but maybe rather poor time management by management? There seemed to be too many persons and the staff were run off their feet. I will return, as the stylists are fantastic and lovely, however, should this happen again I will look elsewhere.
