Alexia was polite, professional and did a good job at cutting my hair. My only minor complaint about the whole experience was the Fashion TV streaming at the basins. The Rio themed beauties with naked bottoms, fronts and racks shaking on a continuous loop wasn't ideal salon viewing, it was kind of icky. I would suggest finding an alternative feed.

1. For the price i paid i would expect to get a nice head / scalp massage, since im a guy my hair cut process is pretty easy. So its the simple pleasures ( this was the reason i decided to come back to heading out, the head and scalp massages + the wet shave back of the neck, both of which seem to no longer exist ? ) 2. While i liked my hair dresser and the way she cuts my hair, on more than 1 ocasssion she walked away and went off and serviced another client as well as just disappeared for a few minutes came back and said nothing ?? While im generally not one to complain if something else requires my hair dressers attention, to just walk off with out asking if its ok, or even apologizing on the return seems very odd. The good 1. The reception staff are great, friendly and very welcoming when enter and exiting Cheers :)

It seems my visits to Heading Out are getting more expensive each time even though I keep getting the same things done. If I dont get a blow wave or a trim as well as my colour colour, all of a sudden I am paying for a long colour, however last time it was medimum. Your opening hours are great and it is convienent, but for someone who just needs her grey re-growth covered up, I am wondering if it is worth going back.

Very good in sales techniques, but I didn't really like my hair cut.

I popped in for a quick trim, which is all my hair needed, and nearly two hours later and $136 later, I had recieved a cut, blowdry and treatment. Only a week earlier had my hair been treated using an Aveda product, so I knew my hair was in good shape. I did not appreciate the upselling of the treatment and I did not appreciate the extra charge of $15 for my "extra long" hair- the length of my hair was irrelevant for the trim I wanted off the ends. I didn't want a blowdry, but I paid for that and the extra $15 to recieve it. It was also strange by how many people I met with during my visit - one person at the counter, another who came by for a consultation, another who did my wash and treatment and finally the hairdresser who cut my hair. It was just confusing and I felt I was being passed on from person to another. The blowdry took the longest and I was asked what sort of blowdry I wanted - to which we agreed, the ends of my layers would be curled. I walked out with dead straight hair, which my hair naturally is anyway, so I have no idea how a blowdry could take so long. My hair would have dried naturally that way, although perhaps with not as much volume.

I was charged $160 for a haircut by Lee and didn't receive a proper blow wave at the end. This should be included in the overall cost and not have to ask for an extra. it's also not necessary to tell clients how bad their split ends are.
