Excellent hairdresser, Mark, gives me fantastic hair cut and service with a pleasant manner. I would recommend Heading out to anyone that was looking for a fresh hairstyle and top of the line service and customer experience.

The service is always very very good but I do find some aspects (eg my treatment) overpriced. $47 is exceptionally expensive for a conditioning treatment in my experience - I usually expect to pay around $20-25. I also find that the stylists are sometimes pushy to purchase new products. While this can be good, it's a fine balance to not make people uncomfortable.

I booked from interstate based on recommendations from a friend. The online booking system was easy to use, and the salon contacted me soon afterwards to confirm arrangements. I have thick and unruly curly hair, which can be a challenge for some hairdressers but I found Zoe from Heading Out Fitzroy to be AMAZING! She took the time to discuss my hair and what I wanted to be able to achieve with it. The cut was fantastic, feels great and looks great natural curly, blow waved or straight. So many people have commented on my hair since returning home. I will definitely be rebooking - it is worth the flight over!

Zieda was amazing today - so much more given than a regular pedicure - a woman with sound wisdom!!
