The dynamic and talented duo, Danny and Klara have done it again. Klara has expertly lightened my hair to platinum using a special treatment that actually strengthens and bonds the hair shaft. Danny never puts a foot wrong and I continue to be a walking advertisement for Heading Out and the talents of Klara and Danny. I have been stopped by strangers on the street asking who does my hair. Word of mouth is the best feedback of all and they both deserve the kudos.

Danny's haircut and Klara's colour was so outstanding a passerby on the street asked me who had fine my hair and where and immediately went into the salon to arrange an appointment. You know a stylist is first rate hen you are stopped on the street. Word of mouth is the best advertisement and I must say I was flattered by the additional compliments!

Over $100 dollars to cut the hair of a three year-old is ridiculously expensive (where else in Melbourne would they charge that for 35 minutes in the chair), especially when you can get the same cut with the same person on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday for $30. Problem is you have to read the fine print because they won't tell you you are being charged three times the week day amount. Its a case of buyer beware!!! And yes, it doesn't matter a hoot that you have been a loyal customer for 10 years.

Thank you for your feed back. As a loyal client of Heading Out's you would know that Heading Out has a company policy to provide a quote to all clients before any service is started. We have this policy so that our clients are aware of the cost of their services from the start so we can work within their budget. The quote is a print out that is handed to the client so they don't have to read the fine print. We try to keep our pricing as transparent as possible which is why we have a price list available on our website with our most common services and terms of our pricing. We also try to inform all clients that are booking in children's hair cuts over the phone that the cost is full price Thursday to Sunday but we offer discounted rates Monday to Wednesday before 5pm. However if reception is not told the age of a child then we can only assume that they are in their teens or an adult. We also have a lot of clients that do pay full price at the end of the week and weekend as they are unable to bring their children in at another time. Also the date that you had visited the salon was Anzac Day so being a public holiday there was also a surcharge which we made aware to our clients at the time of booking.

I have been coming to Heading Out for many years. I like the service but prices have increased again recently and I now feel that I will look around for an alternative salon that is better value for money.
