I booked to have eyebrow wax with Lisa.i was advised by her colleague who was busy with a customers nails that Lisa was in a room and would be with me shortly. When Lisa’s colleague had finished the customers nails they both went into a room with Lisa. Both reappeared and I was told Lisa would be another15-20 mins. I advised I could not wait 15-20 mins and would need to cancel. Lisa’s colleague advised she could wax my eyebrows. I agreed . I am now wondering whether to try somewhere else !

Amazing cut and colour and lovely friendly staff. However I was a bit gutted with the price. It seems to have climbed up quite a bit and although I love my hair I may have to consider finding somewhere a bit cheaper. My hair is quite short and over 70.00 for a cut and colour every 6-8 weeks is too expensive.

I find the hairdresser an awful experience in general I don’t feel comfortable there I don’t enjoy the situation and feel really anxious bout questions bout hair As I just don’t know.its longish, it’s dyed because greys are starting to appear, I tie it up Because it’s easy. End of story to me. As me other questions bout my hair sbd I just say what ever I’m easy, I don’t know. Because I it’s beyond my comfort. Because of that I had a very mixed experience in the salon I Didn’t get the name of the girl who cut my hair. I wished I had so I could request her again. she was lovely and patient and I didn’t feel judged or at all insecure or uncomfortable. As I’m not really good with hair, what to do, how to style etc She advised & helped and didn’t rush me Despite Her next client arriving. Had she been the only person I’d come in contract with I Could not have left happier. She made the experience less daunting and like I could return more frequently than once a year - 18 month even just for a tidy up. I even felt comfortable to tell her I was aiming for the length and styles of another staff members hair and she advised it was possible and not so Far off as I imagined. I even bought a product she used because of how it made my hair feel & behave. (Anti tangler) However the girl who washed my hair was miserable Didn’t say 2 words whole time, she didn’t make me feel comfortable or relaxed at all Didn’t comb my hair properly so when the stylist came to cut it, it was far more tangled than would have been My hair admittedly does tangle easily And was tangled when she combed it , but not to the point it was left by the girl who was responsible for washing And combing it.she actively gave up midway through combing. In a way I’m pleased she did that now as it gave the Actual stylist an opportunity to truly show her knowledge and customer treatment Skills off with the product recommendations but equally had the first girl even attempted this or used the products the stylist used it would have been a different experience. If I made eye contact with her at any point whilst waiting for the stylist to get products or equipment etc She had a very unapproachable glare almost. I felt judged and uncomfortable almost to the point before the stylist actually came to start my hair and had such a nice attitude and far more patience Etc I was almost ready to leave With wet tangled Hair. As a rule hair / beauty salons Have very glamorous people working there They know how to style hair/ apply make up Etc For those of us who don’t it can be a very daunting And intimidating experience And I think thIs staff member should maybe work in her engagement skills with customers As I didn’t see her act any differently towards any other customer. It can really change a persons outlook on thier salon visit. And it’s a shame as there seems to be a huge difference in standards of team members

I have always been extremely satisfied with Elaine’s expertise, knowledge and advice and today was no exception. Im delighted with the colour, cut and style I would prefer not to have staff talking over me whilst my hair is being washed
