My experience at Inch this week was the worst experience in a salon I have ever had. I booked online they called before hand asking me to pay for two appointments in advance or they would not hold my reservation. That was strange and probably not legal. When I arrived no one made eye contact or introduced themselves, they had a young junior and clearly inexperienced staff person colour my roots who did not say a word to me the entire time. She tried her best but smeared dye all over my face, then moved me to the waiting room with my hair hanging all over my face and forgot about me for 45 minutes. I had to ask someone whether I could get my colour rinsed out. I had to find a hairpin in my bag to pin my hair back myself getting dye all over my hands. I got out of there and had to jump on a video call with a client who said to me - what is all over your face? So embarrassing and awful that they would treat someone like this. I get that they were busy returning from lockdown but I would have thought after 3 months of closure and a months warning of reopening that they could have been much more ready to accommodate the demand with out treating clients so poorly.
