I have been to JA many times throughout the years but recently I had a really bad experience there. I think they should either invest on hiring more staff or not overbooking. Also, staff should let you know who would be doing the next service. I was assisted by 6 different girls and there were moments when I thought they were all so busy that they forgot about me...which seemed a few times they did. They left me sitting for 20 minutes next to random dirty hair everywhere. That was terrible.

Shorter delays would be nice, even called in ahead of time to place a booking, should've told me they were busy on the night at least

I have been coming to the salon for over 4 years now. Overall the service is great, however in the last few visits I have noticed Saturdays and Sundays being overbooked. Overbooking sometimes causes major delays getting clients in and out of the salon. My suggestion is to realistically evaluate how many clients can be seen and given great service in relation to how many stylists are rostered on. Clients understand that sometimes there are instances of unplanned staff who get sick, but if they consistently experience delays due to overbooking, this has a knock on effect of clients running late for their other appointments, and causes unnecessary angst for everyone. This tweak I think will increase client service levels and overall customer satisfaction.

John and his team were amazing. I entered the salon with drab, dull long hair and although I was unhappy with my current look, I was unsure of what I wanted. As soon as I met John I knew I could trust him and he had me looking fabulous with a new style - cut, colour, blow dry, GDH and rollers within two hours. I feel great and my new look is professional and easy to mange. John is not into fads or current trends, he styles and colours for what suits each person and their individual look and I fully recommend John to anyone that needs a decent hairdresser.

John has been cutting and styling my hair for over 15 years and I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my hair. I always leave the salon feeling relaxed after the wonderful head massage and looking ten years younger once he's worked his magic with the cutters.
