This feedback refers to the manicure/pedicure I had on Saturday morning. The employee was lovely, polite, friendly, courteous and took her time with massaging, exfolient etc but seemed inexperienced in regards to the filing, trimming and painting of the nails. The original nail polish I chose, she dropped accidentally and broke on the floor, so when I found it hard to find a similar type colour to choose, the one we agreed on, was fairly empty and therefor thick and lumpy. The therapist added some thinner to the polish but only applied one coat and it looked very streaky and lumpy, which I commented on, that I was not happy with it, when she started to apply the top coat (I thought she was going to put a second layer of polish on to even it up. The therapist brushed off my comment, sort of agreeing with me, but changed the subject to starting the pedicure as time was getting on. I let her start the pedicure and thought maybe if I wait for the nails to dry and then see how the polish settles. By the time the pedicure was finished, another staff member had popped their head in to see how we were going, as it had been nearly two hours, so I didn't ask to have them redone. When I got home and friends looked at my finger nails, they were a bit shocked that they had been done professionally, as they did look like my daughter had done them for me. The polish started to flake off by the next day and by today, is half off. (within 3 days) I am disappointed with the results especially when I had been charged $120. I honestly felt like taking off the polish when I got home and redoing them myself. Anyways I just wanted to point out the experience to you, for feedback. I thought the therapist was lovely and tried her best but perhaps was not experienced enough (plus the lighting was quite bad in the room we were in, and she was applying the polish in shadows some of the time). Thanks. Kind Regards, Fiona
