It was my first hair cut in over three years at a salon. I’m naturally quite scared to get my hair done - it’s an intimate experience and your hair can be very reflective. Once you get a cut, you have to wear that look for a period. I had a pretty clear vision for my hair and despite the last minute appointment and never using the stylist before, my hair turned out exactly how I wanted it to. Also, the hot choccy was incredible!

Chloe at Miss Gertrude was a pleasure to visit. She took great care to understand what cut I was looking for and executed it immaculately. The salon was busy but still socially distanced and all the staff were welcoming. Thank you all so much!

I had to wait 20 minutes after my appointment time - no idea why I have to be on time but tend to wait a long time before the service starts. There was no explanation and no apology for this. This is not the first time that it has happened.
