From entering this beautiful space I felt at ease. Subtle details of having a range of magazines nicely stacked and a cold glass of lemon water waiting for me when I sat down made me feel welcomed. Kate, my stylist, greeted me with a gorgeous energy and her professionalism and understanding of what I wanted made me feel relaxed. Really enjoyed the head massage when my hair was washed. Haircut looks and feels great and the fact that Kate will call me is a week to see how I am going is a nice touch. Not at any point did I feel pressured into buying products which is something I do not like in a salon. I will definitely recommend this salon to friends and family as was done for me.

I need to take my infant with me to the salon and have found all the staff to be amazingly supportive, helpful and flexible - amazing service!

Second time at Miss Gertrude, and have ben really happy with my cuts from Kylie both times. love the place, nice environment and Kylie is lovely. Will be coming back!

Gavin is incredible! This was the first time I got a hair cut I actually asked for. Can't wait to go back for my complimentary touch up in a month.

Incredible head massage, professional stylist/colourist with a friendly vibe and lovely salon. Great touch on the teapot and generosity with drinks! Colour looks vibrant - thanks heaps for a great experience. It was a little pricey but probably no more than where I usually go - I'm used to English prices though and usually just a trim so everything feels expensive!

As a frequent hair salon 'goer' (or hair whore as some may say), I was thrilled to find that this haunt hit all the right notes: and we all know, there are many to hit in this business. These guys are Yes People and the environment and A+ heads of hair walking out of this place are testament to that. Look out locks, Miss Gertrude is coming to take yours over!
