I've just moved to Melbourne - I thought finding someone new to snip my fickle tresses was going to be a long period of trial & error. Nope. I struck gold first time. Kylie at Miss Gertrude has tamed my locks so I can feel young & funky again. She sorted through my confused ramblings (and multitude of pinterest pics) to define what I was really after, and then went ahead and created. She also gave me great advice on what I can do next time - and there will definitely be a next time! Thanks Kylie!

I had to wait 45mins before I was seen to. My appointment was for 5pm and I was not seen till 5.45pm. I was told when I arrived that Gio was running 10-15mins behind. I understand that this happens from time to time but I would have liked to have been informed that he was running late so as I could have done other things at work and not rushed to the salon.

I recently moved to Melbourne from Europe. As so many other clients, I am quite sensitive about my hair, and I have experienced top notch (and expensive) salons that didn't seem to have the proper techniques for cutting and coloring. Luckily, Miss Gertrude knows their handcraft. And they know customer service. I will definitely be coming back in the future! Thank you for a great haircut, color and good service. My recommendations go to all the staff, but Jens was the one in charge of my hair, and I can only recommend him.
