After an unhappy first experience, one conversation with the manager sorted the problem and has turned me into one of Mis Gertrude's biggest fans. My newly assigned stylist is an amazing hairdresser, and the ambiance of the salon friendly, helpful and very 'Fitzroy'. Love it.

Miss Gertrude is not just about hair cutting, it's an experience. The funky interior design, the atmosphere, the friendly and generous service (including delicious coffee and tea) make walking out with the perfect hair cut a complete and satisfying experience. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!

I have recently moved to Fitzroy and was looking for someone local. My daughter who has lived in the area thought that Miss Gertrude could be an option. Really pleased with the result. Major change but everyone has commented on how good my look is! So very happy.

I had SUCH a great experience at Miss Gertrude! I would recommend to anyone and everyone. PRO stylist (the manager did my hair) and an amazing service all round. I know where I'll be going every 6-8 weeks from now on!
