Ash was my stylist and I felt like they really understood what I was trying to achieve with my hair, and was able to make recommendations that would help reach my future hair goals, all the while giving me an excellent cut and styling recommendations in the meantime. Already looking forward to my next appointment!

I adore chloe. never has anyone cut my hair so well, or been such delightful conversation while doing so. it really feels like catching up with a friend and at the end my hair is new.

I’ve been seeing Chloe for over a year now where she helped me find love towards my natural curls! Now since I’ve shaved my head she has continuously made me love my hair no matter the style or shape it is in. Chloe is a fantastic hairdresser and stylist - a true gem and it’s truely a pleasure to have her style my hair. She is always so warm and welcoming and when ever I book in a new appointment with her I’m always nothing but excited for it! I have nothing but positive words to say about Chloe - she really is one of a kind.

Miss Gertrude is such a great salon - a really friendly and inclusive vibe while also feeling really luxe. Ash's tips for how to style and treat my hair are invaluable to me. On the higher end of my haircut budget but worth every cent.

I love coming into Miss Gertrude. Sometimes I forget that I am paying to be there and Chloe isn’t just my mate who I get to hang out with every now and again. Sometimes I wish I could bring in some wine and cancel the actual hair cut, just to be there and relax. Honestly I have never had a haircut I didn’t love and I have never found a hairdressers that I rave about for so long after. When I chat with a friend and find out that they also go to (and love) Miss Gertrude it brings back primary school levels of excitement, like the excitement you would get when you would find out your best friend has the same flavour packet of chippies as you. Seriously though, I nearly missed my appointment today because of tram issues and I took it all terrain and went by foot, arrived in sweats and out of breath because I refused to miss my appointment. This is a good salon!
