I have been going to this salon for 4-5 years. The staff are extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable and always ensure a good service. The atmosphere in the salon is very relaxing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this salon.

I always feel very welcome when I visit Miss Gertrude. I wanted a treatment for my naturally dry hair and a wash and blowdry/style for a wedding I was going to that afternoon. I met Milo for the first time and she was very warm and understanding of what I wanted done with my hair. I came away with exactly what I wanted - she even thought about what time the event was and advised that she do my curls a little tighter so that they were still in place as the wedding wasn't until later in the afternoon. My hair has always come away looking better, healthier and smelling sensational after a visit to Miss Gertrude. I live in Sydney but try and make an appointment to visit the salon every time I come to Melbourne because I feel like it's a great reliable salon away from home. Front of House staff member was also very nice.

Libby was fantastic.. As a first time client I really liked Libby's approach- she totally understood my needs and was very professional- no chit chat smooze, which I really appreciated!!.. She is an excellent cutter and look forward to seeing her again as we discussed colour to blend my new found silver streaks post 2 kids!! Thanks again!

It's not that Miss Gertrude is not a very nice salon and staff are very good. I had an excellent cut but it is very expensive now and although the practitioner was very skilled and deserves to be adequately remunerated it is not really affordable for me being on a pension. I have recommended it to a friend with this qualification ....that although good it one of the more expensive salons.
