Miss Gertrude is a very professional studio. I have never had to wait for my appointment. You are seated and offered avery nice choice of coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Magazines are quietly placed next to you. The studio is often very busy when I have been there. Staff are very attentive and want to make your experience a pleasant one. I have always had good sensible advice even when I have felt like being a bit daring- the calm considered advice about managing a particular style or wanting a particular colour is sincerely and honestly given. The location just around the corner from Gertrude street is great because you have this wonderful street to walk along in my case from the tram in Victoria Parade and back.

The Gertrude staff kindly fitted me in when I only had a short amount of time to get my hair done. Now my hair looks gorgeous, seriously the colour is perfect, AND I got out in time to get to my meeting on time.

Grace was fantastic. She was able to but my hair exactly as I requested and was also intuitive to my needs ( fringe and natural part)

Kate is amazing. I felt at home, someone made me a delicious coffee and I wasn't there for hours. Kate listened to everything I said and didn't try to convince me to do something that she thought would be better for my hair/face shape/etc. I left feeling gorgeous, she gave me tips for styling it the same way she had (which was SO EASY) and was just generally great to be around. I'll definitely be back.
