I have been a client of this Salon for around 7 years and have always found all staff to be extremely friendly and co-operative and the service is of the highest standard. I have recommended this salon to many of my friends and family who are now also customers. It is a friendly and relaxed atmosphere to simply unwind and be pampered. I enjoy the chatting with everyone. Regards

My last visit was very disappointing. Was kept waiting in the chair for nearly an hour before Kieran got started on me. Had I been told when I arrived that he was running behind schedule I would happily have come back later. As it was this disrupted my day somewhat. Also found that without Richard in the salon the music was way too loud.

I have visited Portabello on a few occasions and do enjoy going there. The staff are always friendly and very obliging. On my last visit though I went in for a colour and blow dry, my hairdresser had suggested that she was going to put a treatment in my hair before blow drying it, which I agreed to thinking it was standard practice, not realising that I was going to be charged for it until I was at the counter paying. This won't stop me from going there, I've always left with a great cut, style and colour. I guess I could of asked if it would cost me anything - but in turn it would of been nice to have her say "I have this product that your hair will benefit from this treatment, it'll be a small added cost but would like me to do it??" Fantastic salon. Whilst the prices are the highest I have ever paid, I will probably keep having my hair done by Anthony. As for telling my friends and family I have already done so. Perhaps an incentive for regular customers of - a free product, free treatment massage etc, discount on visit or whatever to keep them interested. Just a thought. By the way Kerian is the best hair washer and head massage person I have ever had.... I don't profess to be a expert on hair, far from it, but at 62 I have always been very particular with my hair, being able to style it when I go home from the salon on a everyday basis is so important.

When I first enter the salon I am greeted by a warm and friendly atmosphere. Gabby"s attention to detail with my hair is glorious. I wish her well in her forthcoming journey through motherhood. Daniel is going to take over my hair (new experience) when Gabby leaves i look forward to his wit and a new hands on experience. Regards to Richard.
