I have been a client of Portabello's since its inception. It's always a pleasurable experience. The staff are exceptionally friendly and very professional, and the coffee is well received. My only concern is the cost. As my husband was retrenched recently I feel guilty paying $190 every 7 weeks for my hair.I have never asked but do you have concessions? I'm not on a pension but do have a seniors card. I know the products used are of the best quality, and that along with knowing I will have a great cut are the reasons I have stayed. I come all the way from North Brighton so that says something doesen't it! Keep up the great work. Maggie

I really enjoy one hairdresser only seeing the job through from start to finish. (Maybe not at the basin.) I feel as though I am being fitted in as a convenience to the salon if that doesn't happen.

We are very happy to accommodate your wish for just the one stylist to look after you throughout your total service. The only time this becomes difficult is when an appointment is requested with a normally busy stylist and not enough notice is given.
